I swam too, fucker! Anyway, you’re the king of the weekend.

notchrisbowman:

Went swimming last night at my good pal Bruno’s place with all of our friends. Well, actually, my dumb ass and one other dude were the only people who swam at all… But that’s not what’s important, what’s important comes next. After this, I found myself standing in the kitchen/living room area with…

I only follow 2 blogs on here, don’t really know how to use Tumblr very well but as soon as I heard that was a Dinosaur that likes to paint I knew I had to learn how to follow people and follow it.

Thanks, BU’hole.

Is this a Joke? LA Weekly?

I will never take LA Weekly seriously ever again.
How can you write shit like this? The guy is entitled to his opinion but does he really know what he’s talking about? Dave is speaking about editing and digitalized crutches used to make a crisp and clean pop record. Are you defending the use of technology to make all blemishes disappear or do you not understand what Dave was saying?

Dave Grohl didn’t “Live off of the ghost of rock and roll” he lived off of writing great songs!

He stayed true to what he believed in, never got lazy by using computers to edit his records. He has kept music REAL.

What if this really is our last year to live?

I’m not here to talk about Mayan calendars or ridiculous theories but I would like to talk about something very important: Living life. Loving life, appreciating life, doing everything possible to be happy. It’s a new year and it’s time to embrace that! You can do anything you want, don’t ever let anyone tell you any different. I wouldn’t be playing music today if I had listened to people doubting me when I was younger. If you have a dream or a goal, small or big, then do something about it! I think New Years Resolutions are bullshit and it’s very rare that anyone ever follows through with them. People need to learn to stop talking about doing something and actually just do it. I want you to try something new this year, something you’ve never done or experienced. Live life to the fullest, we aren’t on this earth for very long! You might as well live like the end of the world is actually coming. But don’t just say you’re going to do it, DO IT!  I really can’t stress that enough. I know it can be scary to try something new but don’t be scared, you’ve got nothing to lose. I’m a happier person for living my life this way. I’ve never been more excited or optimistic in my entire life, I know that 2012 is going to be a brilliant year. Feel free to share any thoughts, dreams, or goals you may have.

Yes, Drive A is over, but the guys are still moving on to new musical projects and this blog will be there to support and follow whatever they do. It doesn’t have to be Drive A to still call the fanbase and friends made there the Alliance and the band doesn’t have to be together to still enjoy…
